Documentary - Safe Space: A Birth Control Discussion Group

In Safe Space, I set out to make a video exposing the true turmoil of birth control and asked three women to discuss their problems with birth control openly. This conversation is one that happens often behind closed doors but isn’t publicly recognized. Their dialogue makes one thing clear: birth control has become an overwhelming burden on people with uteruses. I decided not to cut any of the content from this specific version of the video to show the viewer the reality of conversations that happen daily. Each woman shares their own story and eventually goes on to discuss a slew of issues pertinent to today’s issues like the lack of male birth control and accessibility to feminine products.
